PREDICTIONS FOR SAN FRANCISCO IN 2018:

Must start out by saying in my opinion that the 49ers have one of the toughest schedules for 2018 and with that being said i expect the 49ers and Rams to battle for the division. The only thing that concerns me at the moment is wondering if Garoppolo will be a durable QB for the 49ers. There is no doubt Garoppolo is a good QB BUT will he last a full sixteen game slate yearly. The reason i am concerned is because in New England he had the misfortune of getting dinged up a couple times and ended up missing time. The schedule includes the very tough division contending Rams they play twice,Seahawks twice,Cards twice,Vikings,Packers,Chargers,Chiefs,Raiders,Broncos, etc. Bovada/Vegas has them winning 8 games and i think they could hit nine with some good luck.

Three of the 49ers first four games are on the road vs Vikings,Chiefs and Chargers a very tough way to start but if they can come out of it with a split they should be alright. The last three of four games are at home and much easier with Denver,Chicago and Seattle.

These are all great.

You'll be done well before Pre-Season, it seems.

Now if they can copy all the threads somewhere for folks to be able to see them archived together, that'd be great.

Or perhaps right before the first pre-season game, all 32 threads get bumped up ha.

Either way, hopefully these help attract more folks here for football season.

I actually agree the Niners are overhyped. They’ll be decent but I’d guess 7-9 or 8-8 is probably about right. Obviously hope they go 16-0 but I’m realistic.

Still are weak at RB and our secondary is suspect.

Totally agree.   They'll be improved, and can legit battle for a distant 2nd in the NFC West, but the hype train is way overboard on this team.  They drastically overpaid for RB McKinnon, who has never been more than serviceable, and is a pretty big drop from Hyde, IMO, and Jimmy G has lots of proving to do to even come close to living up to his contract as a top 5 QB.
