MonkeyF0cker
It is casino attitude than anything. Bettor comes to them. They do what they want, the way they want. Those days are ending soon. LOL. Ok. If it's allowed by the states and fed, the casinos will implement it. And they'll likely be the first to do it. MonkeyF0cker
Yes, they will be the first. Not the last. It is the last that counts. Because there is no advantage in first mover. Or someone with an existing, bonded license. LOL.
MonkeyF0cker
You should teach at Wharton. They have it all wrong.
Always Call Heads
Because there is no advantage in first mover. Or someone with an existing, bonded license. LOL.Big advantages to be had. But not significant when it goes online and competition starts moving in. Then it is a free-for-all. Vegas casinos are ripe for the taking in online sports betting. MonkeyF0cker
No. I should be a consultant. You should probably be the CEO of quite a number of innovative companies too. Give away the IP to other companies. Come in later and take it all. The last mover advantage. Pretty solid game plan.

MonkeyF0cker
You would take a job for $60k/year in order to make a company millions? I don't think you have a very good business mind if that's the case.

MonkeyF0cker
So, you help your future competition beat everyone else and then try to compete against them. Brilliant.
MonkeyF0cker
Definitely should be consulting at Wharton. Those idiots never would have thought of a genius plan like that.

Bump City
Because there is no advantage in first mover. Or someone with an existing, bonded license. LOL.to infant markets, first mover is not always as advantageous as you're making it sound. First mover takes the brunt of the mistakes and errors... piggybackers usually have a more consistent and less unpredictable model based on the learnings of first to market. Social media is a good example. Obviously sports betting isnt a completely green, market at all, but still. Also I think it's silly to say the only advantage offshore/online has on casinos is cryptos and etc. Limits, vig and options are also a big advantage. There's a reason Vegas isnt generating openers. Always Call Heads
That is inevitable at some point. But definitely can happen once Wall Street gets ready to get on board. Once the train leaves the station, there is no stopping it.

The reason Vegas doesn't generate openers is because they can get them for free. They did it for years on end. You should probably teach at Wharton too. The first mover advantage is massive. Great. You can find a few examples where it didn't work - all while ignoring the thousands of times it has. It's not called a first mover disadvantage. It's not called a first mover placebo effect. It's called a first mover advantage. For a reason.
