Some years ago, I would walk a few extra blocks to park for free then I would later tip bartenders and servers 25-75% (small tabs, big tips). I am far from being a miser/cheapskate. I will pay, and even overpay, for some things, but things like paying for parking irritate the shit out of me. I even almost got in trouble for paying money into someone else's meter when I saw the parking meter attendant coming.
