Mike75
Earlier this year the Titans GM Jon Robinson was slated to pick at #162 in the 5th round but gave up a 6th round pick to move up 10 spots in the 5th round to #152 and select Arizona Wildcat Dane Cruikshank. Was it worth moving up 10 spots in the draft and giving up a 6th round pick? Yes it was worth it as safety Dane Cruikshank scored on a fake punt when on 4th down the Titans faked a punt and safety Kevin Byard threw a pass to Cruikshank who went 66 yards for a TD which ended up being the longest pass play by a defensive player in NFL history This is the play....... . Mike75
he has made some good trades Yes he has. Titans GM Jon Robinson has helped turn the Titans back into a contender. Titans were one of the best teams in the NFL from 1999 through 2011 never having more than two losing seasons in a row and having three seperate 13 win seasons the only other teams to do that during those years were Brady's Pats and Manning's Colts. Then in 2012 bad choices at GM and QB caused the team to plummet with 4 straight losing years 2012 thru 2015 QB Mariota's rookie year. When Jon Robinson was hired in January of 2016 the cupboard was bare. So he traded the number one draft pick for more draft picks then drafted RB Derrick Henry to go with just signed free agent RB Demarco Murray. Drafted RT Jack Conklin,Signed C Ben Jones to help two year vet LT Taylor Lewan run the offensive line. Drafted WR Tajae Sharpe,Signed WR Rishard Matthews to help take pressure off of TE Delanie Walker. Suddenly QB Marcus Mariota had a much better offense and the team won 9 games The next season in 2017 Robinson drafted CB Adoree Jackson to help S Kevin Byard/CB LeShaun Sims both drafted the year before and also signed CB Logan Ryan. Also drafted LB Jayon Brown. The secondary improved and the team won 9 games again and also made the playoffs as well as winning a playoff game. So for 2018 the team offense needed to improve so they hired a new head coach Mike Vrabel and offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur to help WR Taywan Taylor and Corey Davis who were drafted the year before but didn't do much along with signing RB Dion Lewis and backup QB Blaine Gabbert. More talent was added on defense this offseason including drafting LB's Harold Landry and Rashaan Evans,S Dane Cruikshank as well as signing S Kenny Vacaro and CB Malcolm Butler for secondary along with DT Bennie Logan. The team is 1-1 so far but dealing with lot of injuries to key starters. There are only 9 players left that were here before GM Robinson's 2016 arrival LB's Derrick Morgan,Brian Orakpo,Wesley Woodyard, DT Jurrell Casey, DE DaQuan Jones, TE Delanie Walker, P Bret Kern, K Ryan Succoup, QB Marcus Mariota. Mike75
Not sure any former Sun Devils have ever been recognized like this. Dane Cruishank was an Arizona Wildcat. Was drafted in 5th round by Titans. He is gonna be good. I started seeing it in preseason Already doing things on special teams He will be a good safety for us in future The thing thats messing Tennessee up right now are key injuries to starting QB,starting left tackle, starting right tackle, backup left tackle, starting linebacker, starting wide receiver....We already lost TE Delanie Walker besides Gronk the best TE in the NFL. Sol Aristatel
Love ya Mike. But this is by far your worst thread ever. Nobody cares about football players from Northern Mexico.
