Bump City Posted September 20, 2018 Report Share Posted September 20, 2018 I do not follow basketball at all, however being in Mn and the fact that most of the time there are only a couple teams playing(wild/wolves), you cant help but be aware of what's going on. yea, the wolves improved and finally made the playoffs, every once in awhile you cant help but win slightly more than half the games, especially when Towns is getting better every year and is close to being one of the top players in the league. By the way, butler might have decent numbers, but i dont believe our record was much better with him than without.They were 38-28 with butler 9-7 without him and they had an easier schedule without him than with him so they were better with him, despite playing the tougher part of their schedule with him. He's like dwight howard 2.0. Hes remarkably talented but his focus and drive is awful and he doesnt understand how to prepare and motivate. The fact that Thibs couldn't motivate Butler to come back shows how brutal towns and Wiggins are. They dont listen. Butler worked harder than anyone in the league to make himself into what he is. He's always clashed with players who dont take practice and preparation seriously. Wiggins is one of the best athletes in the league yet hes a horrible defender and doesnt want to learn. Towns is one of the most gifted players in the league but continually disappears for long stretches of time and doesnt have any sort of intensity - especially defensively - with his game. No team is winning anything with those two. Thibs thought he could bring in butler to teach them his defensive system and teach them how to be professionals but instead they have remained lazy immature dopes who now have pushed butler out.
