Then he tosses them an olive branch and said we'll work with them if they work with us. Classic Trump. Him doing that is exactly why he was elected, and why he'll be re-elected. You don’t agree to a price, then don’t pay or try to negotiate lower after you put your money out. That’s not being successful, that’s being an asshole. To get back to Trump, it certainly seems he was an asshole in business, and perhaps he is now, today he gave a speech at the UN and was very unkind to them, he told them exactly what he thought of them, that he was going to ignore them(we've already defunded some UN agencies), etc, and apparently it brought a few laughs. Remember when Obama went to the UN, ran down his own country in front of them, apologized for being an american? They loved that, he received great applause. One man told them what they wanted to hear and basically groveled in front of them, the other told them they're irrelevant. We can each decide which is a better way to lead.
