Got a few friends in the biz.......all of em have told me that in the not so distant future main floor BJ and roulette will be a thing of the past. Everyone will be going to the stadium seating style set ups where one dealer will service up to 50 BJ and/or roulette players. With that being said, high limit pits/rooms like the Talon at the Cosmo will still cater to the folks putting down 300 a hand and up with live conventional table games with one dealer per table.

Lol Reno is the worst “big” city on the west coast. Downtown is a dump. Silver legacy isn’t horrible which is why I usually stay there when I’m in Reno for work.

yeah I suppose  -  CC will always have a place in my heart, my Dad took me there when I was about 12, on a trip to my Aunts in Oregon from So-Cal. First casino I was  ever in and I was hooked

And I dated a dealer I met there  briefly in  2010

Spent far too much time in casinos as a kid playing video games while my grand parents gambled. I always liked Bally’s since they had a bowling alley and a huge arcade.

Yeah.....I travel all over the country to different casinos and I would say the Stadium style set up is up and running in 25% of the casinos that I have visited. MUCH MUCH higher % in casinos outside of Vegas.

it makes sense from the casinos stand point obviously  -  i wont ever go in there again.  I bet 1/2 the dealers have worked there for 10 + years

I'll be interested to see if the casinos will be able to pull it off......right now they are slowly implementing it. Bit by bit.....table by table. The JACK casino in Cleveland went real hard over the last 8-12 months. They wiped out several tables and I think over the next year or so they will be stadium only minus the higher limit BJ and roulette tables.
