Sol Aristatel
$100 for a baby bird you have to reheat. Still having trouble processing. Depends how good it is. I can't imagine it being good enough to warrant the price tag. Very rarely do I come away impressed when I spend big money for a meal. But every now and then the quality of a meal is well worth the money.

After it’s carved it’s gonna work out to $20 a lb, for turkey. And you have to reheat it.

RDTrains
As previously stated, Goldbelly is not cheap but I love blueberry pie. And they have some really good ones. Thought I was nuts paying $59 but I would do it again.
Machiavelli
Never ordered turkey but Have bought other stuff from gold belly. Absurdly expensive but they have some pretty incredible products. I actually ordered a few pies for thanksgiving a few years ago. Both were amazing but with shipping they were like $70 each Holy F a 70 pie!
housepicks
I’ve looked up some big name Chicago places on that site. Seems like the price of everything is doubled and then some. https://www.goldbelly.com/buona-italian-beef/italian-beef-sandwich-kit-8-pack. Retarded. Balco
We've usually done the standard frozen Butterball turkey every Thanksgiving. Went with a fresh one from Sprouts today. Will be interested if I can tell a difference in quality. Was only $1.29 per lb too.Organic?
housepicks
$70 for a pie. That’s Teddy’s pants budget for 3 years.
housepicks
(2) 9” pizzas cost 6 pair of Teddy’s rustlers. https://www.goldbelly.com/lou-malnatis-pizza/lsc2-2-lou-malnatis-deep-dish-pizzas
mikeman
Turkey here is 69 cents a lb,a 13-14 lb birds is still only $10, a 5 lb sack of potatoes is like $1.59, if you buy the boxed stuffing it's 69-99 cents, a gravy packet is 50 cents, so that leaves a veggie or two, add another $2. But, you cant cheap out on everything, so add in a couple bottles of wine before you eat(I saw some good stuff for $2.88 a bottle), and you get maybe $25-30 for the whole shebang. Live large but shop smart, that's my motto!

joeybagadonuts
The Waygu Jap steaks from San Francisco look tremendous. I’ll place an order. That place that provides them (holy grail) does events around here where they provide the meat and hire chefs to cook it. Usually they do a pairing with either red wine or high end whiskey. Tickets to them are usually between 3-500$ per person
