Any grain of truth is then covered in propaganda/framing to obscure such, which is why people tune things out. Now, Trump is also successful in muddying such waters and then 'getting by' as a result. If CNN/NYT and others weren't showing stories and then followed with "Opinion pieces" which amplify the negativity, then people would naturally be lead to the result that they are aiming for, but when they try and forcefeed everyone into becoming Runners, people naturally go the other way. So in an odd way, they're being easy on him by trying to be too hard hahaaha I'm reading right now about Ivanka and the inaugural, as if that is the most important thing in the world, when in reality, it's just something else that does not matter to every day people, but will be billed as a "big story" in order to keep up their narratives.
