Why wouldn’t he?

Because it's not specified in the stats that RB are elg for.

Granted, in any fantasy league he would be, but this contest had a more simplified scoring.

I won't object if it's counted but I'm sure others have missed stuff like that all year. But if it's allowed here, good to know for the final weeks so we can check beyond what's listed.

He does not because it is not stated in the rules as a scoring category for RB's.  It is something that occurs so sparingly that I didn't feel the need to add it.  In the next version of this contest that scoring may be expanded some.

I don't think Beckham got the credit either for passing, but do think WRs who have rushed have gotten the TDs like RBs who caught, which is more common place.

While sorta implied that RBs are run or receive, technically a TD is a TD, so perhaps +6 here with no passing yard points? And then let a Beckham user get credit if they go back to find theirs that week?

Have we not given WRs who rush TDs pts? How about RBs who catch TDs? Beckham threw 1 I know?

QBs rush yards?

He did and it was also not scored. This was meant to be a simplified scoring system with straightforward stats per position as listed and not something as dynamic as a daily fantasy roster.  In an effort to keep it simply fun and not so in depth and has been graded with that same consistency throughout.

RBs have been scored TDs for cats they get yardage points for which is rushing + receiving.  QBs were an exception getting points for rushing TDs (because its a frequent occurrence) although only TDs and not yardage gained and it was labeled as (6 Pts = TD Pass/Run)

if you throw a TD you didn't score the TD

QBs are the only one who get the exception and get credited for it in simplified scoring systems because they rarely score any themselves.

FYI, you see this even on major sites. RBs/WRs would get credited for passing TDs (unlike here), but kickers, for example (available on DraftKings in showdown format) do not get credit if they pass for yards or TDs. Happened with Chris Boswell and he was not credited.

So it's logical for this contest to only credit players with the TD if they actually score, with the obvious exception for QBs.

The reading of the rules here indicates as much. Pass TD is specified for QB because it needs to be noted that unlike other positions, they get credit for throwing the TD pass.
