Mike75 Posted December 11, 2018 Report Share Posted December 11, 2018 As much as i have enjoyed this strange season it has been better than the last few years especially the unpredictable nature of things this season. If i had to guess the NFC i think it comes down to Chicago and New Orleans and i would love to see New Orleans but IF the Bears get in its for one simple reason:DEFENSE. For all the talk about offense at the end of the day defense is still king. But its more entertaining to see offense NEW ORLEANS FOR THE NFC Now for the AFC. No way in hell does the Patriots get in this year. I think it will ultimately come down to....LA Chargers and Kansas City. Although i would love to see Rivers finally get a ring he will fall short in the AFC Title game to KC a team that i think has beat Chargers the last few times they played. KANSAS CITY FOR THE AFC Now for the Super Bowl nothing would be more entertaining than seeing offensive fireworks all night between New Orleans and Kansas City. Imagine Mahomes and Brees dualing it out all night. New Orleans Saints vs Kansas City Chiefs in the SUPER BOWL Saints win 44-41 in a wild one. So who ya got????? KC probably the favorite but they have obvious blemishes and Andy Reid is known to choke in the playoffs. I'll go with Saints vs Chargers. Agree with ya I think it will either be Saints/Chiefs or Saints/Chargers. I do think the Chargers/Chiefs will meet in the AFC Title match up. Gonna be a wild one this year. Just have been involved in some weird games, i think they make a little run big ben is maybe the best QB in football. Back in the 1980's before Tennessee got a team i had a couple NFL teams i rooted for the Raiders and Steelers and i couldnt stand Dallas i guess because everyone else fawned over them. I also knew that Steelers beat Dallas twice in Super Bowl in the 1970's as well. Fast forward to 1996 i was nearly 21 and me and two uncles sat down to watch Super Bowl 30 which was Steelers/Cowboys who would meet for the third time more than any other teams. My uncle liked Dallas and i liked Pittsburgh so we bet 20 bucks on the game and of course Steelers would lose. After Tennessee got a team in '99 ironically i ended up hating Pittsburgh. Anyway not long after Super Bowl '96 i saw my uncles again and it was my 21st birthday and i told my uncle i would like to win my 20 bucks back and all the sudden a light bulb went off and my uncle announced he knew the perfect place not only for me to enjoy my birthday but also win some money and that was the greyhound track. I ended up loving the dogs/horses and out of that night grew a life long love of betting them. Fast forward 8 years later January 2004 i had my uncle over for a few days and we watched the NFL playoffs among other things. At this time in my life me and my gal were split for almost a year and i was hog wild over escorts and after a few days i wanted my uncle to split and go home and give me some time to do things like call up women and invite them over and blow off steam especially after me and my uncle had words with each other when i made him go home. Anyway not even a week later my brother calls at 4AM to tell me that my uncle committed suicide. The reason he was over at my house for a few days earlier that week was because he had just been diagnosed as diabetic and his wife of 30 years developed a crack cocaine addiction and was doing things she never ever wouldve done in the past stuff that embarrassed my uncle deeply.
