I don't have any inside information but given that the Eagles are basically eliminated due to the loss to Dallas, I suspect that will be the case. I don't know if this is a real injury or not, but either way, they're not going to want to play him anymore. Had they beaten Dallas, the division would've been a coin flip and Wentz would be playing this week. Pederson says the injury evolved over time and does not require surgery but could take up to three months to heal. Wentz is expected to travel with the team for the game.Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles would play if Wentz can't go. Foles hasn't taken a snap in a game since Week 2. He would be insurance in case Foles were to get hurt. From what I read, Wentz could probably give it a go in his condition. That's why he was never ruled out until late in the week.
