Yeah unders have their advantages as you already winning when betting the unders but problem is

 

U can lose pretty quick

 

While betting overs it might be torture, scary, nervous, sweat time but you will watch it till the end maybe an over time maybe a 20 pt last min , maybe a 75 pt quarter like Atlanta okc 2 days ago that won 1h , you won't lose it until the final whistle is blown but the unders you can say good bye in the first few minutes

The rule changes on defense from 3 years ago (or whenever it was) have resulted in officiating significantly impacting totals. Some refs call every ticky tack thing a foul, while others let them play. I've lost totals where both teams shot about 30 % from the field, but combined to have ~80 FT attempts and managed to get half of their points from the FT line. Those are the games that are infuriating, knowing that a different set of refs would have resulted in an easy under.
