Guest ChrisHarvard
Both of these fighters are going to retire after this match, I imagine. Who will be left? The most elite boxer in the entire world? The same world most people think Muslims are the enemy and the Quran is some kind of evil.
Sharp Square
If this match happened years ago it would of had a much bigger impact. Sure will still make plenty and draw in a crowd but i doubt it has a "save boxing" kind of impact at this point.
High3rEl3m3nt
It can't be helped. This fight is going to be pumped up and expectations will be too high. Hopefully the fight delivers some entertainment, but boxing should do its damnedest to put together an insanely talented card that showcases the sport. Great showcase opportunity. KingRevolver
Leading up to the fight there's going to be a lot of hype, but the fight itself will most likely be "boring" for the casual fans. I enjoy watching Mayweather's defensive style and I like watching technical matches. Unfortunately, most people find that boring, and they only want to see brawling... and that's not something you're going to find in this fight. Who will be left? There's plenty of talent to replace Mayweather and Pacquiao. I remember after De La Hoya retired, people said boxing would die... and Mayweather an Pacquiao ended up taking over. Boxing returns to network television this year. Maybe things can go upward. Onward and upward!
