UC led just 50-46 before holding UCF scoreless for the final 4:37 of play. "They're playing with a little bit more confidence now," UC associate head coach Larry Davis said of UCF. "They're a team that's fighting for respect, so they're dangerous. They've won three out of their last four and probably should have beaten Memphis."
