My opinion. Anyone who gets addicted to anything, drugs, sex, alcohol, idc they're weak. Free-Will can stop.

I don't want to hear the sad stories and saga.

It's a disease that effects the body and it's chemical composition. So yes, you are being ignorant regardless of opinion.

It would be like saying everyone has the Free Will to be happy, so I don't feel any sympathy for the clinically depressed in this country.

Unreal, all the addicts coming out of the woodwork. Don't miss your meetings, guys.

Nothing in life is EASY. If you do something that tears apart your body, it should be hard on your body, no?

Yanks --- don't start taking personal shots, pal. I know it hits home from you, no need to be a fukking pansy.

How's this novel idea? You are addicted to alcohol.. Don't go to a bar, don't buy liquor, don't order a drink. How else will you consume alcohol?

Drugs? Stop buying them, hanging around with people who do them. Can't do them.

Sex/Porn/Masturbation. Get a fukking hobby.

It's not that fucking easy you stupid motherfucker.

Did I say it was easy? It isn't easy doing a lot of things in life.

Don't put words in my mouth. Fact is addiction is not a disease. Proven by science. It all has to do with free will.

In my opinion -- any addiction can be broken/changed with a strong person. I think a strong person would never get addicted.

Of course I'm not an addict, doesn't mean I can't relate to science. Anyone who is an addict will disagree. It is my opinion. To say I'm clueless though shows the lack of intelligence on your part.

Here's a novel idea. Right now Deemer is addicted to himself. Can't stop sucking his own dick to save his life.

Kid when the world kicks the living stuffing out of your stupid fukkin ass and you can no longer bend over to stick your own dick in your mouth, call us back and tell us what your crutch is.

Cuz you're gonna need one badly.

Sink still finding the need to be relevant on the boards. Do you ever post gambling information or just log in because your life sucks?

Hey, buddy, try to gamble more and argue less. Don't bring your shitty life to the boards.

Sinker, whats next? Meet up in Detroit and fight? Fukking A you're a moron.

Can you show me your scientific studies that prove it's not a disease? Because I'll present you with countless that state the contrary.

A strong person would never get addicted? What? So strong people aren't allowed to have any moments of weakness? Do you have any clue what you're talking about? Seriously.

Receptors in your brain tell you women are good looking, so should you go rape them?

I can make numerous comparisons.

I'm not going to sit here and argue for 500 more posts. I think addiction is something that can be dealt with, I really don't even believe in the word addiction. People close to me have been 'addicts', done the whole recovery thing.

Anyone who is doing something that they are addicted to, wish you luck. Doesn't mean I'm going to say you have an uncontrollable disease.

A moment of weakness is doing something stupid. Not continuously doing something to ruin your life, pal.

Scientific studies differ on this subject. Also, scientific studies call obesity a disease. Let's hear that... ADDICTED TO FOOD

:doh

The chemical make up of something like Heroin, pain pills and etc has an extremely high level of physical dependence after one use.

What studies? Show me one study. My goodness.

Some drugs have a chemical makeup that causes your body to have dependence on them - meaning without them, even after just one use, your body will not function properly. Can you please stop citing science - you are embarrassing the field, and you are not correct.

It's like citing science when stating that everyone on depression is just being a negative nancy.

Also, you say only addicts relate. I've never touched a drug that wasn't weed, and I drink maybe, MAYBE, once a month. I gamble only in season - don't bet baseball or football. Never bet what I can't afford to lose. I am about as far from an addict as you'll get. That said, I'm not ignorant and self centered enough that I think all people should make the same life choices as me. Many people who are addicts got addicted in adolescence, when experimenting and trying things is normal and certainly not a sign of weakness. Many more turn to alcohol or drugs as an escape from the stresses of daily life - something you would know nothing about while being in college.

That's another thing about 'addicts', they want everyone else to be an addict so they relate.

Wish you the best sinker. Mike knows I hope best for him. If you want someone to coddle you and tell you how it isn't your fault, talk to your wives/gf's. If you ever want someone to dish you some reality, I'll talk to you.

Just because I'm younger doesn't mean I'm more intelligent.

You're not being a realist or honest though, you're just being a misinformed, naive kid.

You think it's so easy to turn off and just free will but josh Hamilton has 125 million reasons to stop and he can't despite how hard he tries.

You'll grow up one day and understand that you know a lot less than you think. I had that realization when I entered the work force. I would imagine the timing will be similar for you as well. You'll learn to listen more and judge less.

The definition of addiction is a physical and mental dependence on something. Not just mental. If it was all mental, there wouldn't be detox facilities and people wouldn't be rushed to the hospital because of detox symptoms.
