I do think Monkey's arguments/positions on the issues are more relevant/realistic at this point. But when it comes to guesser, sinker, paddy, mo, etc and even br when he was here, it is always important to me to see/understand other viewpoints to both challenge this side of things, but to also get an idea of what to watch out for both in what may happen and what may be argued about on a broader scale. This hyperpolarized climate has to two stark diff mindsets trying to both be right, and to a degree, each may be. It's just.....how do we want to move forward? Embracing some harsh realities and fighting them head on in a defensive manner.......or try to minimize difficulties through mutual cooperation on a grander, global scale? See, the liberal/democratic mindset isn't as 'weak' as conservatives make it out to be---it just approaches issues another way, thinking they can problem solve in a more sophisticated way, which would be ideal.......but isn't always grounded in reality of human nature. Hence the sharp harshness these days.
