Seanie Mac
Buying 1 ticket of multiple tickets is -EV, you're better off playing buying them in a row off of the same roll
KingRevolver
Buying 1 ticket of multiple tickets is -EV' date=' you're better off playing buying them in a row off of the same roll[/quote'] Yeah, but I don't think it works that way. There could be, for example, 8 winners in a row or 8 losers in a row... no?
Yanks
I kept breaking even and moving to a new ticket until I lost
Seanie Mac
Yeah, but I don't think it works that way. There could be, for example, 8 winners in a row or 8 losers in a row... no? Theoretically yes, but way less likely than buying 8 different tickets With the $20 once in PA it's 1:3.14 I think so it's unlikely you go 0 for
Seanie Mac
The $30 ones are 1:3 but the payouts are very top heavy, with a lot of winning tickets just being $
milwaukee mike
Yeah, but I don't think it works that way. There could be, for example, 8 winners in a row or 8 losers in a row... no? there could be, but in wisconsin i think there are similar amounts of "smaller" winners in each bundle... the only 2 ways to play scratchers at +ev is 1) to check the state website and see how many big prizes are left in each game. there are times with hardly any tickets left anywhere and a big prize or two still left. 2) steal the tickets

Then won 20$ each on the next two then lost 5 more. I was pissed

Seanie Mac
I went 0-10 once on 20$ ones. Then won 20$ each on the next two then lost 5 more. I was pissed I used to scratch a lot with a friend, we would buy rolls and split the cost/reward. We won 10k twice, and everything below that a bunch of times. But prob spent 5x what we won lifetime. One time I won $500 twice in the same day in the same ticket but from 2 different stores. Most I won was $1000 on a 1$ ticket

KingRevolver
I'm going to buy like thirty $1 tickets in a row. We'll see about this...

That's like borderline top prize for those. I've found the best time to play is right when the new seasonal ones come out, especially Christmas. Seems they want you to win earlier on so you keep playing them throughout the season.

Ya was the top prize and I was 17 and had to have my grandmother cash it in for me. I bought 2 baseball bats and carbon fiber mirrors for my Honda lol I always win when the holiday ones come out. Noticed that my self. One time they had I live Lucy two dollar tickets and I won $50 on the first one. Cashed it on at another gas station and bought another I love Lucy. It was the first one and I won $50. I then wasted $30 going to every gas station and buying the first one. That plan didn't work out. TNVOLFAN
Tn has the worst grade of all state lotteries F- so I refuse to play here. I am sure it has saved me a lot of $$ over the years............
Mike75
Tn has the worst grade of all state lotteries F- so I refuse to play here. I am sure it has saved me a lot of $$ over the years............ Definitely true. From 2004-2007 i won a shitload of cash playing cash 3 and cash 4 numbers. In 2007 they changed from ball machine drawings to computers which to me is cheating the players. Have played rarely since....
