I got Ozzie Smith’s auto in 1986, but that was on a team ball. I got Dale Mutphy’s Autograph on a 1987 topps card after he got out of the team bus. Actually is was 1988. I remember now since after the game started I was messing around with my cards and drew all over a nobody’s card. Once the game ended a braves fella started to sign autographs near the dugout. I feverishly run there to see who it is. It turns out it was the guy whose card I doodled on and I only had one card for him.I have this burned in my memory.
