I know that it isn't true, but they are saying the US Women's team now outearns the Men's. Granted, there is a bigger opportunity for the Men if they become good since the Men's World Cup is much larger, but according to current revenue generated, US Women's makes more for their org. So the women are a winning team(a dominant team), the men aren't, that's why they get more attention. It wouldn't bother me if they paid the mens soccer players far less, but then they wouldn't get any players to sign up, since they have so many more options on where to ply their services.
