Three and a half days in court on trial. Jury deliberated less than an hour. My heart was pumping when they read their verdict.

Going to celebrate this weekend.

Now the whole story can come out.

So let's go.

No bullshit.

Tell the whole story, and don't fuck around trying to "hold the audience".

Get crackin', bitch.

BOL...:cigar

LOL, you've clearly never spent a lot of time in a courtroom or even done jury duty.

It took the whole first day and part of the second for jury selection, then a day and half of testimony.  Lunch break every day as well.  Shit moves slow.

What's your hourly rate for your lawyer/s?

How many total witnesses were there?

Catching up on work then celebrating tomorrow.  Will take a few days to get the thoughts together and put it down.

Very glad I did what I did and didn't accept the plea.  About halfway through the trial I caught a glimpse of two of the jurors (both female), after something was said the look on their faces told me that I was very likely going to be free.  Not going to lie though my heart was pumping when they came back in and the judge asked them if they had reached a unanimous verdict.

I've served on 2 criminal juries and both times we voted for acquittal.

Besides both cases having presented underwhelming evidence, my motivation to acquit both times was substantially due to the district attorney being an absolute dick in court.
