maron
We will see if NBC can do a better job modernizing the broadcasts of boxing than Fox did with the glowing puck in the NHL. Sugar Ray on the Mic....sensors everywhere...new camera angles. prime time broadcast will have some of it with the Sports Live Extra App having more toys, stats, and views... two decent fights as well. KingRevolver
Personally, I'm not exactly thrilled about all of that because I like the old-school feel of boxing. I don't need fancy camera angles, but I understand they are trying to appeal to a wider audience.
BigBill365
Im excited i dont have cable so anything that comes to the free channels i always watch.I may become a boxing fan now if it stays on NBC.I actually find Broner a very entertaining Fighter he also knows how to put on both a pre and post game show. BigBill365
WoW not what i was expecting. No wonder Boxing is a dead sport.I have a feeling this is going to get yanked from the air. These were no name fighters that were just extremely boring to watch. And then they try and hype up the next fights on NBC and its 2 no names that no ones ever herd of .How fuking terrible.I will defintly not be watching this shit again I thought i would be a new boxing fan but now when i hear the word boxing ill just shake my head. The mayweather paquio fight wont be anything exciting either BIGBILL could give a fuk about this boring lame shit. BigBill365
It still did good with about 2.5-3 million viewers thats 2x more then the NHL primetime game on NBC.
BigBill365
WoW it even did better then most all of the UFC that were on regular FOX thats impressive but obviously since its debut it will be its biggest numbers.Im curious to see what it will be when it comes back to nbc next month. KingRevolver
LOL @ Thurman, Guerrero and Broner being called no-name fighters by Billy. I suppose that may be true, when it comes to mainstream fans that they're trying to reach, but at that point... they're all no-name fighters except for Pacquaio and Mayweather.
