My dad hit me on the head with a sledgehammer once. We were putting in fence posts in the back yard. He was a OB/GYN doctor. He had as much right to have a sledgehammer in his hand as I did a scalpel. The first blow hit the post. The second hit my head. We lived in Staten Island. I made sure they heard me in Brooklyn.
