Sharp Square
Will be interesting to see how that team bounces back next season and now they start to get it with some cap effecting contracts by various guys if they can keep it together. tripp
Overpaid but seattle kind of depends on him on offense Seems more and more likely that Russ might not get his record contract this offseason. Reports were saying Wilson might play out the year like Flacco did if he doesnt get the deal he wants from Seattle (highest paid in the game). Deemer
Overpaid? Arguably best back in league
The X
Lynch is a good back. No doubt. But the best? Murray isn't even the best back. They have great offensive lines.
tripp
I wouldn't pay any RB that kind of money though. Peterson is still probably the best RB in the league imo and I wouldn't want him on my team either for his current contract No RB would be getting 8 figures on my team.Position is way too easy to fill with good cheap guys to waste money paying big bucks for the top backs. NE has been way ahead of the curve with this thinking for years
Deemer
New England lol, 1 fluke play. They haven't won shit. And Wilson ain't Rodgers or Brady. They need a stud back

tripp
New England lol, 1 fluke play. They haven't won shit. And Wilson ain't Rodgers or Brady. They need a stud back NE has had the most consistent success of any franchise over the past 10-15 years. Wins more than anything else show success is sports, I dont care if they had 0 sbs (they have four in the past 15 years tho, not 1) Point is "stud" backs are pretty easy to find. How many times have we seen "elite" backs go down with injury or suspension and no name fillers come in and do pretty much as good? Arian Foster was considered the top back in teh NFL by many a few years ago. He'd miss games a lot and Ben Tate would always look like a stud when he filled in. Last year Foster missed a couple again and Alfred Blue put up some big numbers Jamaal Charles has missed time and Knile Davis filled in more than adequately. Is he as good as Charles? No but the drop off wasn't crazy Peterson misses the entire year for suspension and Jerrick McKinnon fills in and looks pretty darn good Denver loses Moreno to free agency who had a big year for them and what happens? No name CJ anderson has an even bigger year Pats recently have had big years from Benjarvis green ellis only to let him go when he wanted too much money. Bring in Ridley and Blount and they are really productive. Blount wants money? let him go to Pittsburgh and replace him with no name Gray who just goes for 200 yards and 4 tds against the Colts. Blount then comes back since he gets released somewhere else Point is their are tons of examples that prove the difference between a top back and a no name back is nowhere near the difference in what they are paid. Demarco Murray is the new "elite" back when people seem to be missing the big change in that team is they have three all pro OL, its not that murray got way better. Dallas would be just fine next year letting Randle and Dunbar take over
