KingRevolver Posted July 18, 2019 Author Report Share Posted July 18, 2019 Last time I was in phoenix, we were quite amused watching the weather report, it went like this - sunny and hot today, high 102, cooler tomorrow, high 101. Is that a phoenix thing? Most places would never differentiate such small differences like that? Up here they would say hot high 91, tomorrow it stays hot high 90, wouldn't be called cooler until it was several degrees. Yeah, I'm sure it happened exactly that way... We (me and other neighbor) gave up garage sale for the day at noon. It was fun talking to people but Good Lord.... I think one is still at it. Good grief. Dew point 77...not really sure what dew point meansanything in the 60's is uncomfortable, 70's is a sweatbox, , high 70's on up is extremely unusual and downright dangerous. Got up early, showered ...even did a hair and make up thinking that people would be more likely to buy things from people who look more put together ...got out there and started to set up...starts POURING rain with lightening. The worst part is my garage is full, and my car is on the street with the window stuck in down position...and now I don’t want to get wet and ruin my hair by going out and taping plastic over it.
