Unreal. Got up early, showered ...even did a hair and make up thinking that people would be more likely to buy things from people who look more put together ...got out there and started to set up...starts POURING rain with lightening.

The worst part is my garage is full, and my car is on the street with the window stuck in down position...and now I don’t want to get wet and ruin my hair by going out and taping plastic over it. Might have to Uber it to the casino lol. Hope it clears up.

jeez sorry to hear

i'm in northern kentucky and keep getting emergency alerts on my phone about the heat... yeah i get it, it's hot and i'm not going to play tennis for 4 hours, how dumb are people that the phone has to warn them it's hot  :laugh

Lol. Well. Just thought it would be nice to do this before baseball started. Now I’m going to have to do laundry.

What are you doing in Northern Kentucky? How far are you from Cincinnati?

Hummm.....MM on my turf.....

...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS
EVENING...

* HEAT INDEX VALUES...Around 105 to 110 due to temperatures in
the mid 90s, and dewpoints in the mid 70s.

* TIMING...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat stroke, heat exhaustion and other heat related
illnesses will be possible, especially if you spend a
significant amount of time outdoors, or are involved in any
strenuous outdoor activity. The cumulative impacts of heat on
the human body can be significant when consecutive days of
excessive heat occur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing and drink plenty of
water. If possible, spend more time in air conditioned or well-
ventilated places. Reschedule strenuous outdoor activities to
early morning or evening. Friends, relatives, or neighbors should
check on the elderly and people with chronic ailments, who are
usually the first to suffer from heat-related illness.

To reduce risk during outdoor work the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks
in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by
heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke
is an emergency, call 911.
