I think what you are seeing from his presidency is just about what he's always been. Does he pander to a certain demographic? Absolutely. Every politician on the right and left does that. But what someone is on the political spectrum cannot be more defined than what their policy is. And Trump has been pretty anti-liberal with much of his policy. Socially and fiscally. That's why there's never been such a hated president by the left. He's said some liberal things in the past in interviews. Like on things like abortion and what not. You can't gift those people in the back those things without punishing the parents who did things the right way - which creates the absolutely wrong incentives. There is no external solution. It has to come from inside. And those people in the back will have to work harder to make up for it. A fact of life. And it's not something that's exclusive to race. Not every white person was born into a head start. There are a number of factors at play in the home including economic, language, substance abuse, physical abuse, physical disabilities, mental health, etc., etc. All of that is what I was alluding to earlier.
