sleepy
The Yankees pretty much own the Twins and I think pretty much every fagg with a betting account is going to like them. I’m thinking Yankees -375 here. Am I outta of line?
Sol Aristatel
Line won't be fair for the Twins due to the brand name of the Yankees. So throw an extra -40 on top for that. Thinking -180 is fair. So probably looking at -230ish.
Miley Cyrus
Gibson and Martin Perez have been dreadful since the all star break and have no business being starters. Berrios has been trending downward, and Odorizzi isn't anything special. Yankees pitching aint great either, and the series will likely be a slugfest. -375 might be a bit of a stretch, but wouldn't be surprised to see it close at -300. kovacsbar
Need to see Yankee rotation first. If Severino is ready to go at least 6 and German is eligible Yankees -

Sol Aristatel
Twins are a great road team. 50-25. Best in MLB. HFA shouldn't be much of a factor. True the Yanks have got the best of them this year, but there is no reason a true line should be much more than -200.
Sol Aristatel
and German is eligible He won't pitch again this season.

I’m thinking Yankees -375 here. Am I outta of line? If they meet in the ALDS, it's only 5 games. So it should be a lot shorter than that. Probably around -170. This might help you for a first order approximation if you can figure out the individual game odds within a small window... https://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/handicapper-think-tank/190052-no-vig-series-calculator.html If you don't have a tool like that already, it can definitely help in the middle of a series as well. MonkeyF0cker
Even in a 7 game series (ALCS), I'd say the Yankees would only be about -200.
MonkeyF0cker
For a -375 line in a 5 game series, the team with HFA would have to be lined at about -240 and -180 on the road every game.
sleepy
As I understand it the Twins are going to use Ordizzi, Berrios and a opener in the playoffs.
FairWarning
Would love to see the Twins take this. Didn't realize the Twins road record was that good. I'm concerned that its largely the result of a weak division.

sleepy
But now they can slug back. You must not have watched any games between these teams this year. There is not one guy on the Twins staff the can get these guys out.
