I had to reread it too.

I think it means 10% of whatever is employee contributed, not 10% of total salary.

Deceiving and shitty when it had potential to be amazing.

Poor Wade

It's better than nothing, if he's smart and puts maybe 10% in, he'll get 1% extra(free), you cant turn it down and it'll add up fast. i dont like the idea of a roth 401K, for a guy like wade getting the tax deduction now seems better, meaning it'll only cost him 6 or 7% to put in 10.

Wade won’t need the tax deduction now. How much tax do you think he is paying?

Is he the bus driver, or is that moldy? Anyway, even if he's making $15 an hour, he's having taxes withheld.

The problem is a guy like wade will move jobs in a couple years and then cash in his 401K, instead of rolling it over, that'll ruin everything.

Does being a homeless truck driver in training count as a hardship)??

Maybe he got an extended term declaring his truck as his residence.

Anyone who has had to borrow from his own future don't have one anyway.

Guy knows he's a dead man tho, might as well eat a plate of grease and bet on Illini games with his savings.
