Recreational Player only? Is there an accepted industry wide definition for this? When players shop for numbers - it is very easy to look like a genius at some places and a complete idiot at others. All the player did was bet the best number at the best juice at a given time in the day. Nobody can know for sure if that number is there on purpose or if it is stale?

LOL, I've been paid by Betmania and have every reason to believe if I ever won again I would be paid. That being said - any sports book that has that wording in their rules and regulations is enough to tell me to keep it modest with the balance.

Sportsinteraction must have a siren that goes off when a player has won 10K. But, they pay the player - a place that would confiscate funds because a player won too much - that is taking it too far.

Rachel needs to make her quota. only reason you're back there WVU.

Multiple factors are taken in consideration when evaluating my performance. My quota is not defined by money in only.

Rachel is my hero

Thanks <3

Does bet mania have poker?

Unfortunately poker is not being offered at this moment.

We have lots of players who win and win big every day, when they do, they get paid, no trouble. Chasing steam is the only thing we don't accept.

Say you’re looking at a table of live NFL odds at a dozen online sportsbooks. Every shop on the board has the Pittsburgh Steelers as a -6 favorite over the visiting Cleveland Browns. As the odds update, one of the sportsbooks moves the line to Pittsburgh -7.

Not only has the line moved a full point in a matter of seconds, but the game has moved onto the key number of seven for NFL contests. Also, the sportsbook that moved the line is known for their larger betting limits and sharper lines. This is a steam move.

“Chasing steam†means betting the Steelers at -6 before the rest of the market adjusts. By going to another sportsbook, and locking in your wager at -6, you can guarantee yourself the best price before the move and one that will probably beat the closing line. Other sportsbooks will be quick to shift their odds to -7, so striking while the iron is hot is of the utmost importance.

The conclusion?

If management considers that a player's action falls under the steam category on a consistent pace the player will be flagged as "not recreational" and will be limited immediately. Simply don't chase steam and everyone is welcome to play here.

My first comment would be you used a horrible analogy as a book will rarely move from -6 to -7 in one jump. That is a key number after all. Secondly, many of your colleagues need to understand that getting a good line isn't a crime. Instead of attacking, chastising, and sometimes even banning those who consistently try to get a good line, they should work harder on keeping up with the line moves themselves. Surely the BM linemakers have Sportsoption and/or Don Best running on their screen. I do not, so there is no reason that I should be beating them to any line moves. Limiting and/or banning players quicker to the punch is not a smart business strategy. With the costs of new player acquisitions running close to $400, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to run off a guy who has shown he will jump through the hoops to deposit online just because he gets a good number once in a while.

I do appreciate your posts and respect the work you do for Betmania and the players.

Hey, one thing we can infer from this thread. Sports books think that steam chasers win! One thing about this business model - Quite a bit harder to churn big volume from the players. I am happy to play on a recreational basis - use the book for that purpose only. My definition is the size of the bet so what do recreational players bet? 100 bucks?
