I don’t understand why deadline wouldn’t be right up until the games start.  I must be missing something.

Monkey just runs after Sinker like a pissed on poodle to tell him he's wrong. The rules were posted for everyone who can read, to read.

Carry on. The kid shit himself.

Again.

rjt needs to change that then.  We've always ended before the selection show so other teams get bids.

Figured more people would be around to bid on a Sunday night and the bubble teams will only attract $5 and $10 bids anyway

Might not matter.  Good chance tourney is postponed

I guess because you can get some bids on longshots...just never seen it done this way anywhere but here.

I would rather see it go after selection til game start, but I guess that ship has sailed.

Then there's no point in starting the auction until the brackets are released.

We've always closed bidding before the brackets are released so there's some mystery and some bubble teams get in while others don't.

At end of selection show?

Or right before?

Your logic on why we should end it before works for me. At first I didn't think it would hurt anything to leave it going, but if people have no real reason to bid until after selections, that takes away from the fun/strategy/etc.

Let's get this decided by tomorrow night at the latest, so Thurs-Sun can be all about the bidding.
