I would rather see it go after selection til game start, but I guess that ship has sailed. Then there's no point in starting the auction until the brackets are released. We've always closed bidding before the brackets are released so there's some mystery and some bubble teams get in while others don't. At first I didn't think it would hurt anything to leave it going, but if people have no real reason to bid until after selections, that takes away from the fun/strategy/etc. Let's get this decided by tomorrow night at the latest, so Thurs-Sun can be all about the bidding.
