Another 2 weeks or so, and it'll get worse before it gets better.

One thing that is good is the projections that were made in NY were flat out wrong, by a factor of 4. 10 days ago they predicted 50,000 people hospitalized now, the real number is 14K, so they dont have a clue, but it is off the better way.

Someone please explain how this social distancing does anything? As soon as we all go back to our lives everyone is going to get sick. Let’s says in two weeks the 60000 people in NY died and 4 million were infected. There’s 18 million people in NYC. So if you’re only doing it to take the burden off the hospitals there’s 14 million people left. Makes no fucking sense.

At least 6 weeks away

The official predictions, that are updated every day(and are trending down, not up) predict NY peaking on april 12th, 9-10 days away, with most of the rest later in april. A few outlier states have their peak in early may.

As far as , deaths go, i think we'll peak right about 3k a day, I dont care how many are in NY.

You're right, it helps a little, but at least in my state 70% of the jobs are essential, there are still all kinds of people working and out and about.

The problem with these shutdowns, and that idiot Fauci is that if they dont work they blame us for not doing enough, if it does work, it's prob because we're near the peak already, but they'll take the credit.

Tucker had a pretty devastating commentary on Fauci and the flawed models that have shut the country down. He said oklahoma for example was supposed to have 1000+ people hospitalized right now - they have 38, new york was supposed to have 55000, they have 13000.

He asked if the models were right, meaning most states had  very few, very manageable numbers , would millions be laid off today?
