When I listen to his press briefings he talks non stop about how great they are. When he annouced that they were going to mandate statewide you could just feel the emense joy and glee when he was talking. He tried to mandate them early on when only a few states were doing it. The only way C19 will stop being spread is 100% of people have no contact with others.Obviously that cant happen.So guidelines are put into place to mitigate risk.Most people follow them...........and that helps a great degree. But as we know there are some who for what ever reason refuse to follow them,so our net result is much lower than we wanted or it would have been if all people who have followed the guidelines. It really is that simpleNo, it's not that simple, if wearing masks helped there would be a clear and visible correlation in the stats. areas where 90%+ wear masks would have far less spread than areas with the reverse, with areas in between showing results accordingly. Masks are not new, the idea of wearing them has been studied for decades, science said that wearing masks to prevent the flu was ineffective for instance, it did nothing. Now they are 100% sure it's great, that's bullshit. They dont know what to do and are grasping at straws, then they can always blame the non wearers, instead of their failed recommendations.
