maron Posted March 31, 2015 Report Share Posted March 31, 2015 I would wager the future on the Tigers to win the World series but lay off both the AL Central prop and even the one making the playoffs...how so? I actually like the rotation of PriceVerlanderSanchezSimon better than I have last years. I think they can cope with the loss of run production this team will see during the regular season. Yes they will manufacture runs much better but the easy scores and blow out regular season games will not be there. The key will be the one run games. If they get Soria to be the closer with Nathan in the eighth a try then this team makes it to the playoffs. The Al Central is no gimmie this year...but if the Tigers make it to the dance, their chance of winning it is much better than in years past. Not to mention they lost scherzer but I'll give that a wash because they have Price for a full year. How anyone can trust Verlander right ow is beyond me. Sanchez needs to stay healthy too. His playoff performances the last few times out were not stellar.
