I was happy with interview #2

I hope it answered some of the questions people have speculated about on the forums about for the last few years.

Great stuff, gents. Very interesting for sure. I am not sure if the second interview centered around questions that you were interested in asking, and you knew that we'd be interested in hearing, but it certainly was a good listen.

Boat, you have the wherewithal to ask the kinds of questions that'd make for an interesting interview, without creating a thread and whatnot. Patrick was a bit harsh, but presented some valid points. Creating the thread is more interactive I suppose, but the interviews aren't nearly as interesting. You are savvy enough to know what will make for a good interview and who'd be a good interviewee.

I know he is a tout and all, but I think Meatman would make for a great interview.

I too think Meatman would be good.

I may try that. Good idea.

yes interview #2 was basically my questions I assumed others would care to listen to.

As far as creating a thread to have posters put forth questions ...........I am not sure why that would be a negative.

In regards to Pat.

He spends much more time thinking of me and my work on the forums than I think about him.

you do the math.........

I guess it's not a negative, just think the interviews end up much better if you just run with it, the interview sort of builds upon itself and allows you to get to the good stuff much easier, instead of a stop and answer session, where the interviewee answers posters' questions and then just moves to the next one. Again, my read is that you have a knack for this kind of thing and are witty enough to stay on point and ahead of the interviewee.

Maybe a rapid fire session at the end of the interview, where posters' questions are answered?

I like that idea a great deal.

Asking posters questions as you said is/was done so that the community pays a roll but as we saw in interview #1 it can lead us to portions that wonder and lose any steam we have created.

Your rapid fire at the end is a GREAT idea.
