Bimmercando
Was it an American check? It was in fact a cheque in USD drawn against a TD Canada Trust Bank - Canadian Institution. TD has branches in USA and I am sure they will pass this cheque as well as any major bank.
Bimmercando
tried to deposit at ATM and not accepted Have to go to the bank's counter and see what will be
Bimmercando
Well my bank is an internet based bank and no counter service so no way to cash it. Went to TD bank and that was a no go as well. Went to bank in Canada where i did not hold a USA account only a Cdn account and they wanted to covert it to Cdn$ at some awful rate then convert it back to USD at another miserable rate. Told them to stick it and I'd rather be mugged than willingly give away 10%. Went to the Cdn branch of my internet bank and they cashed it immediately. So you need to deposit their cheques at the counter ( not teller ) at a USA branch where you hold an account. The average person's account will have the funds frozen till it clears. The books like Canada for it's many "marketing" skills ( the cheque issuers ). So the story ends.
Chickadee
You ran into the same problem as me bimmer except im just average so i have to wait another 15 days for it to clear.
brownsfan
Just get your Bookmaker/DSI payouts in bitcoin. They send same day and it can be converted into cash within 30m or so of receipt. Best method out there.

Best method out there. Requested one at 820 this AM, still waiting for it, expected around 3-4 hours, since that's what I'm used to from 5Dimes. Just wanna know when it gets sent, so I don't have it sitting (probably losing value) in the blockchain wallet.
Bimmercando
Afraid of the bitcoin thing as one never knows it's value as it can change on a dime. One bit of gov't intervention into bitcoin and you could be stung, no?
brownsfan
I receive the bitcoin and within 30 minutes or so I have cash in my bank account. I do not and would not hold onto them...they're sold immediately. Gov't is sllllooooooowww. No way anything happens in the 30m between receipt and sale. One bit of gov't intervention into bitcoin and you could be stung, no? Last time I got one, requested 2500, normally lose 30-40 with fee when you go to "sell" it. But by the time I got it and sold it, price changed and ended up getting 2530 in the bank instead of 2460ish. But that's why I prefer to get it and dump it ASAP and not hold it for a day. I don't carry any in my online wallets, they all get sold as soon as I notice them in my wallet.

ted sheckler
Fees ended up being 25.xx cash in to the bank was 22 less than requested so bitcoin changed 30 cents during the time. 15 bucks cheaper than my usual method over at 5dimes

BigDaddy
question for those that took BTC payout do you see this after taking payout i went to check the status in the cashier page and i see this Your Payout Request Requires Further Action From You. the money is still debited from my account and no emails or calls so just curious thanks
StayGolden
money being debited isnt an indicator, its instantly deducted when you put in request. bookmakers BTC payouts are a joke. I waited 3 days and they still hadn't even reviewed it. There is no reason BTC payouts should take more than a couple of hours at most. I've received a number of btc payouts from DSI. Its usually a few hours, maybe 8 hours was the longest I ever waited. Did you contact CS? rito
Typical. If there is a problem with a payout they never contact you. So they probably knew after 5 seconds, just did nothing about it.
plommer
Biggest offshore book in the world and they don't have enough bitcoin to pay their players. Nice.
