So the outcome of ONE game can and does affect the out come of many other plays. I have seen a "hook" that cost 20 cents lower the over all payout if all games hit by 2-3k Because of it being -130 vs -110. But if by chance that HOOK cause you to say win 7 games vs 6 your over all payout goes up $$$$$ maybe 10-15k. I had the pain of not having a big win in a RR by having the -3.5 vs the -2.5 So I buy the hooks. But lets face it RR are sucker bets anyhow.
