Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans AFC Divisional Playoff Preview

A lot can change over the course of the season. After dealing with so many injuries the Titans set a new record for most players used during the season. Now they are almost a hundred percent with nearly all their players healthy.

The Bengals have a very dangerous offense and QB Joe Burrow along with WR Ja'Marr Chase are a potent combination. Tennessee will have to limit the big plays.

Cincy rank 7th in passing offense and 23rd in rushing offense while the Titans offense is 5th in rushing offense and 24th in passing offense.

Cincy ranks 7th in scoring with 27 pts game and Tennessee rank 15th with 24.5 pts game

The Bengals rank 16th in 3rd down conversions and 19th in red zone TD percentage but are very good in converting on 4th down coming in 2nd in the league.

Titans rank 8th in 3rd down conversions and 6th in red zone TD percentage but are good as well in converting on 4th down coming in 6th in the league.

Joe Burrow and company are in a groove, rolling past the Chiefs for big play after big play when it mattered in Week 17, rolling well enough against the Raiders in the Wild Card round, and coming up with over 1,200 passing yards in the last four games …

And no turnovers.

Even without Derrick Henry, D’Onta Foreman and the Titans running game have been great, Ryan Tannehill is starting to find more with AJ Brown rising up late and Julio Jones emerging in Week 18.

On the defensive side of the ball the Titans were the only team in the NFL who had three players with 8+ sacks this season.

Tennessee rank 25th in passing defense and 2nd in rushing defense while the Cincy defense is 5th in rushing defense and 26th in passing defense.

Cincy ranks 16th in scoring defense with 21.9 pts game and Tennessee rank 6th with 20.8 pts game

The Bengals are dealing with injuries on defense losing starting defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi for the rest of the postseason and Trey Hendrickson is dealing with a concussion.

San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers NFC Divisional Playoff Preview

It’s Green Bay. It’s mid-January. It’s a Saturday night game, it’s supposed to snow in the morning and be close to 1 degree at some point in the evening.

Conditions will be much different than they were last week when the Niners were in Dallas

Packers rank 8th in passing offense and 18th in rushing offense while the 49ers offense is 7th in rushing offense and 12th in passing offense.

Packers ranks 10th in scoring with 26.5 pts game and 49ers rank 13th with 25.0 pts game

Green Bay has effectively had three weeks off – Aaron Rodgers and the ones went early in the loss to Detroit before shutting it down – all while San Francisco is playing its fourth game away from home in the last five weeks.

Packers rank 10th in passing defense and 11th in rushing defense while the 49ers defense is 7th in rushing defense and 6th in passing defense.

Packers ranks 13th in scoring defense with 21.8 pts game and 49ers rank 8th in scoring defense with 21.2 pts game

Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFC Divisional Playoff Preview

Los Angeles and Tampa Bay both had Wild Card blowout wins, but the Rams got out relatively unscathed while the already dinged Buccaneers didn’t have running backs Leonard Fournette or Ronald Jones – Fournette is still questionable for this – and might have lost star O linemen Tristan Wirfs and Ryan Jensen to ankle injuries.

The Los Angeles defensive line was just okay at getting into the backfield against Kyler Murray and an Arizona team that couldn’t get anything going, but it was fantastic against the run and generated a few sacks.

In the first meeting between these two teams back in Week 3 – at 34-24 Ram win – Tom Brady went off for 432 yards, but the ground game didn’t do anything with just 35 yards, and Chris Godwin – who’s now out for the year – played a big role in that game.

The Rams defense have struggled against the pass the last few weeks.

Bucs lead the NFL in passing offense and 26th in rushing offense while the Rams offense is 25th in rushing offense and 5th in passing offense.

Bucs ranks 2nd in scoring with 30.1 pts game and Rams rank 6th with 27.4 pts game

Will the Rams offense be too much for the Bucs defense to contend with?

Bucs rank 21st in passing defense and 3rd in rushing defense while the Rams defense is 6th in rushing defense and 22nd in passing defense.

Bucs ranks 5th in scoring defense with 20.4 pts game and Rams rank 9th in scoring defense with 21.3 pts game

Bills ranks 3rd in scoring with 29.4 pts game and Chiefs rank 4th with 29.0 pts game

The Bills are No. 1 in the NFL at third down defense, but Kansas City is No. 1 on offense in converting third downs.

Bills rank 1st in passing defense and 13th in rushing defense while the Chiefs defense is 21st in rushing defense and 27th in passing defense.

Bills ranks 1st in scoring defense with 17.0 pts game and Chiefs rank 10th in scoring defense with 21.4 pts game
