By 7:00 AM Eastern US Time, We Should Know if WW3 will kick off shortly By 7:00 AM eastern US time (NYC Time) we should all have a very good idea if World War 3 will kick-off shortly. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is scheduled to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Geneva at 11:00 AM local Geneva Time, which is 6 hours ahead of NYC. The meeting starts at 5:00 AM NYC time and is scheduled for two hours. So by the time most of the US east coast is waking up for work, we should know how the Blinken-Lavrov meeting went and be able to logic whether the shooting commences shortly. My bet: After the exchange of diplomatic pleasantries, Lavrov will simply ask Blinken if he has the written responses to Russia's Security Guarantee Treaty Proposals. Blinken will say he does not. I think at that moment, Lavrov and his team get up and walk out. They almost HAVE TO; because at that point, there really is nothing left to talk about. The West forcibly overthrew the democratically elected President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovich in 2014. They then installed a puppet government favorable to the west. Russia's existence is thus threatened when the US installs missiles on Ukrainian soil. Those missiles would have a flight time of 5 minutes to Moscow and less than ten minutes to Russia's strategic nuclear missile silos. Russia cannot defend against that. So without a written response from the USA, Russia will have to take steps to guarantee its own security, which, to my thinking, means stomping the shit out of Ukraine as a warning to all the other former Soviet Republics: Stay neutral or be friendly with Russia and whoever else. Hard to say - maybe? I'm waiting for russia to declare a no fly zone over belarus and ukraine, for instance right now all these supply flights going into Ukraine are flying right over the russians, they can stop that anytime they want. they also have drones, etc, they could simply start blowing up these big cargo aircraft carrying anti armor weapons when they land. If it did come down to fighting there is no nato - they cant do anything without us, they lack even the capacity to move forces by air in large amounts because they lack the airlift capacity. The russians anti aircraft batteries would clean the skies and their super modern long range missiles supposedly cant miss, they could prob take out all of Ukraines command/airfields/depots in a couple days. the armor advancing from 4-5-6 different directions would be the least of their problems.
