USC and UCLA leaving the Pac 12 for the Big Ten

I think there's more to this.

Nobody in L.A. cares about UCLA football, USC has always owned the city in terms of attendance and TV ratings. You don't need both teams to capture the L.A. television market. Stanford and Cal's situation in the Bay Area is similar, nobody watches Cal and everyone watches Stanford. It would have made more sense for Stanford to go with USC and own the Bay Area TV market as well.

UCLA likely begged and PAID USC to go with them to the Big-10

What percentage of the 15 million Pac12 network subscribers would you say, were just for those two schools?

Going to be very interesting travel, not so much for football.  But when you are playing 2 conference basketball games per week?

Its why they would do the Thursday night Pac12 Usc or Ucla at Oregon, then Saturday-Sunday Usc or Ucla at Oregon St setups.

Ucla especially, and Usc on the rise, both strengthen the Big10 basketball play.

If you subscribe to cable TV or YouTube TV they come with your cable package automatically, no separate subscription is required. Thus, millions have it and likely never watched it.

I have DirectTV, and they do not have the Pac12 channel.  Do have Big10.

Family has cable, their provider puts the Pac12 in a premium package; and the cost to have it is an extra $60 or so per year.

A Cal/Stanford/SJ St rivalry is what people want.

Not telling you anything you don’t know.

Axel is sour because he once again.

Didnt get to start this thread.  Likely was busy eating 5 hotdogs and gulping down 6 COKE’s.
