WVU- are you sure there are no “double pick” weeks later in the season. These larger pools usually have some double pick weeks or there will be too many people that make it to the end. Very important to know how many teams we will need to select

there will be double/triple picks.  Here are the rules, though they don't sound like they cover everything:

Basically pick a winner - no spread involved
win and move on
lose and you are OUT

if you do not pick a team, the highest margin win be your pick
do it a 2nd time and you are eliminated

some weeks you will have to pick 2 winners
lose 1 and you are out UNLESS all teams lose 1

This happens around week 8...
Then goes to 3 teams.
Chops are an option when it gets lower but EVERYONE IN THE CHOP HAS TO AGREE
If one person says NO then play on...

If you win it all.... I will be taking my 10%
If I win it all, then you will NOT be getting a cut LOL

Actually there's a better chance that you use less teams with those rules.

Picking two or three games in a week makes it more likely for people to drop out earlier.

This almost always goes to the end of the season according to the guy.  8000 entrys

So unless someone points out good reasons not to, I have Denver as our week 2 pick. This follows the strategy of taking the worst team out of the big favs.  I expect them to roll over the Texans. I have the Packers as a back up in case of cancellation/venue change, etc.

No objections here they play in a tough division I mean how many opportunities do we realistically have to use them.
