While driving by I noticed they've hung up a few bird feeders. There are bears around here, sometimes many of them. They're waking up from hibernation around now. And the first thing they go for are the easy to see bird feeders with the sticky, sweet red liquid inside. After feeding they often maul some backyard pets, rip up gardens, slash small kids and do other bear stuff... The neighbors hung bear magnets. If you actually talk to them then yea, mention it in passing, but to walk up and knock on their door to "tell" them would be a no no IMO. I don't know them so it would be Karenlike to tell them. Damn bears can smell anything from anywhere, I saw one grab a watermelon slice and take off.
