Details
Study Result
Impression
Multilevel moderate to severe neuroforaminal compromise as above-described. Mild to moderate spinal stenosis is noted at C5-6

If this radiology report contains a blank impression section, it is an incomplete radiology report. Please contact the interpreting radiologist or applicable radiology division as soon as possible to obtain the completed interpretation. Workstation ID: 1H1RADW02E

Narrative
EXAMINATION: MRI CERVICAL SPINE WO CONTRAST

INDICATION:C-spine fracture, traumatic S12.9XXS - I10 - Fracture of neck, unspecified, sequela - cervical spine fracture

TECHNIQUE:
MRI of the cervical spine without contrast was performed on a 1.5TGE Signa magnet system. Sequences obtained include sagittal T1, T2 and IR; axial T2 and 3D GRE.

COMPARISON: CT 08/24/2022

FINDINGS:

Again noted is a 3 to 4 mm anterior subluxation of C3 on C4. There is reversal of the normal cervical lordosis centered at C3-4. There is narrowing of the disc spaces throughout. There is no evidence of an acute fracture subluxation.
Vertebral bodies demonstrate normal bone marrow signal.
The cord is normal in caliber and signal.
The craniocervical junction is normal.
The paraspinal soft tissues are unremarkable.

C2-C3: There is no significant neuroforaminal or spinal canal stenosis.

C3-C4: There is a circumferential disc bulge resulting in mild compromise the central canal. Disc osteophytic changes result in severe right and moderate left neuroforaminal compromise.

C4-C5: There is a circumferential disc bulge/posterior bony ridge worst posterolaterally on the right resulting in the mild-to-moderate spinal stenosis. Disc osteophytic changes result in moderate left and severe right neuroforaminal compromise.

C5-C6: The central canal is maintained. Disc osteophytic changes result in severe bilateral neuroforaminal compromise.

C6-C7: There is a circumferential disc bulge/posterior bony ridge resulting in mild compromise of the central canal. Disc osteophytic changes result in moderate to severe bilateral neuroforaminal compromise.

C7-T1: There is a circumferential disc bulge. The central canal is maintained. Disc osteophytic changes result in mild-to-moderate bilateral neuroforaminal compromise.
