Earlier Wednesday, Morant posted -- and then deleted -- messages and pictures to social media saying "Love ya ma [blue heart emoji]," "Love ya pops [blue heart emoji]" and "You da greatest baby girl [blue heart emoji] love ya." He then followed those with a post that simply said, "Bye." The Shelby County Sheriff's Office told TMZ that officers went to Morant's home to check on him. The Grizzlies suspended Morant from team activities May 14 after a video on social media circulated showing the All-Star brandishing a firearm. The NBA suspended Morant for eight games following a similar incident in March, when he was seen on Instagram Live holding up a handgun while intoxicated at a Denver-area club. According to WPLG-TV in Miami, Hill allegedly hit a marina employee during a "disagreement" that took place Sunday. Miami sports radio show host Andy Slater reported that Hill slapped the employee on the back of the head but that the employee has declined to press charges at this time. The Dolphins released a statement through a spokesperson, acknowledging the reported incident. "We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives and the NFL," the Dolphins said. "We will reserve further comment at this time."
