unbelievable generosity by owen/americasbookie again

love the structure that rewards a deposit, yet lets everyone else play too

AB always comes thru.

I wasn't even done asking Zack via Skype and he said "yes if it's for TGF do this............"

We probably don't have to worry about those guys playing in this contest, or even knowing about the contest.  Can't imagine people who say their life is a vacation, spend their free time on gambling forums.

unless...

Brock landers claims his life is a vacation, we all know the truth.

BigGamblerz claims his life is a vacation, we all know the truth.

All those guys touting on a gambling forum that their life is a vacation....

both times i talked to zack he went above and beyond.

one time i was asking for a check withdrawal of xxxx from a contest and he said "let's just round it up to xxxx" which was almost $1000 higher!

yea he goes over and beyond.

pretty amazing really

when TGF was nothing more than a thought we contacted Zack about a banner conversation went like this

TGF "hey Zack gonna start a message board"

 Zack "really...............wow, good luck"

TGF "thanx it will be hard, we were curious do you want a banner there"

Zack "well maybe, whats the place called."

TGF "we don't know"

Zack "oh, well whats it going to be like"

TGF "ummmmmmmmmm we don't know"

Zack "well who is going to post there and run the place"

TGF "well errrrrrrrrrr ahhhhh we don't really know"

Zack "ha........... sounds great, count me in. let me know how much I owe, I want to run contest to reward guys who play here"

True story.................

Ughhh, you caught me.  I lied when I said I don't bet pizza pts, I also lied about having "life clocked".  This is embarrassing.  I apologize for commenting on your "sarcastic" post, If I woulda known you were going to be hurt by it, then I would of never posted it.

Once we get TGF pts, please remind me and I'll ship a weeks worth to you!  Even though I most likely need them more than you, because afterall.....

As always, thank you for the kind words MM.

I have simply approached things from another angle.

No magic formula.

Simply tried to view guys playing with books as a "hobby" for the players. Like any hobby it cost them $.

What I mean  is,    face it 99% of us (myself included) won't win gambling. Can't beat the juice.

So rather than make it adversarial where the it's Books vs Players, I approach it from the angle of.

"Ok books, these guys are gonna lose, we all know that. Let's throw in some free stuff, contest, prizes, and make it somewhat more of a level playing field. Make it so that thru contest the players who really want to work at it have a shot of coming out ahead"

The books have supported that 100%.

It doesn't have to be a US vs THEM mentality. It really doesn't.........

Sure someone will win and someone will lose and most times its the book that wins, we all know that.

But the $ the books have supported the contest with, make the game (hobby) a little closer to even.

Some embrace that, ................others don't.
